What we're looking for

Volunteers who have the heart and passion for bringing youths together through fun and meaningful activities. Our goal is to build a vibrant community of youths who can take ownership and manage a space of their own. You will play an important role as a community builder and social connector in bringing youths together through a kampung spirit styled approach.

About Crater

Crater is a non-profit organisation that delivers innovative programmes seeking to grow a person's competencies for the purpose of society's collective well-being. Our work aims to build a community school where youths can learn to become change makers in creating a positive impact on society. You will be supporting Crater’s Community Builders in facilitating conversations and programmes for youths at our youth community spaces.

Responsibilities

• Building meaningful connections with youths in the community.
• Engaging youths by designing exciting, cool, and fun projects of your own.
• Collaborating with youth volunteers to lead youth community activities/events.

Requirements

• A heart for community building
• An eye for problem solving
• Comfortable working with children and youths from primary school and above
• Excellent communication skills

Have experience in one or more of the following areas:
